This is the view we enjoy every day as we walk east along the Los Ayala beach .The sounds of the gentle Ocean waves washing up onto the soft sandy beach, distance calls from the willets and seagulls hovering over the Jaltemba Bay area, the laughter and smiles of the locals as they enjoy the beach in the midday sun. We usually meander along the water's edge where there is the usual gatherings of the brown pelicans which quickly disperse as we approach. The local merchants politely display their colourful wares, while a couple of authentic Mexican food stands are cooking up kabobs with their early morning catch of shrimp, and fish. We sometimes stop in under a palapa cantina for a cold cerveza. This beach stretches for 1 km and offers recreation and relaxation for tourist who want to escape the larger resort towns.This is truly an awesome place.
